Description
Our smoked, canned, and jerky recipes have been inspired by thousands of years of First Nations experience to match each product with sustainable local fisheries. If you like canned salmon, Okanagan sockeye have been recently restored by the Okanagan Nation to near-historic levels and is a salmon recovery success story. Enjoy canned Okanagan sockeye, harvested in the deep cold waters of Osoyoos Lake, smaller than most BC sockeye, but so buttery it is great in salads and preferred for those iconic salmon sandwiches and spreads.
Selectively caught sockeye captured in fences and purse seines from the Stellako River produce that mild meat highly praised for our best smoked products late in the season.
We put their sockeye and wild Fraser River sockeye salmon and pink salmon from Sts’ailes and Sq’éwlets in right-sized cans and retort pouches so anyone can enjoy these delicate rose-colored meats smoked in maple and alder for that great traditional taste.
Try all of our smoked products in your favourite spreads, with cream cheese, or savour directly on a cracker.
Finally, if you love salmon and have never tried our smoked salmon jerky, you will love how Fraser River’s wild keta and sockeye salmon blend take on our trademark flavours that will keep you coming back for more.
